Ceramics and Composite Materials

Ceramics are produced by the application of heat on processed clays and other natural raw materials which include slip casting, pressing, tape casting and injection molding. Composite materials have extraordinary physical properties and huge used for structures, scaffolds, pontoon frames, hustling car bodies, natatorium boards.

Ceramic matrix composites are a subgroup of composite materials and ceramics which consist of fibres. To develop Ceramic matrix composites to solve the problems allied with technical ceramics like alumina, silicon carbide, aluminium nitride, silicon nitride or zirconia.

The ceramics created by humans were pottery objects, made up of clay, either by itself or intermix with alternative materials like oxide, hardened, sintered, in fire.
